This training is offered to rail workers who have completed the pre-requisite training. (See Course Dates for more information and training schedule).

The Department of Transportation has issued the following notification regarding funding for the DOT Hazardous Material Instructor Training Grant:
"Since the Federal Government will be beginning Fiscal Year 2012 under a Continuing Resolution, it is necessary to delay the release of all FY12 Grant funding. This delay applies to our HMIT and SPSTG awardees. It is our goal to award the funds as soon as we have a full-year appropriation or an enacted bill that will allow us the authority to do so. Your patience is appreciated."
Because of this delay it is necessary for us to cancel the November 15-19, 2011 Advanced Trainer class. Once funding is released we will reschedule and notify you immediately.
