NRC for OSHA Training

National Resource Center for OSHA Training

The National Resource Center for OSHA Training was established in 1994 as the Region III OSHA Training Institute Education Center.  It is run as a consortium of the the National Labor College (NLC), Building and Construction Trades Department of the AFL/CIO/The Center to Protect Worker’s Rights, and West Virginia University Safety and Health Extension.

The National Resource Center (NRC) has experienced instructors who bring an element of “real life” to the classroom, along with our current and technically sound understanding of the OSHA regulations that apply to the particular industry.

The #500 and #501 “Trainer” courses provide the latest adult training techniques and a wealth of resources to the student who will become an instructor, including a copy of the relevant OSHA standards at no additional charge. All of our courses offer students an in-depth look at the applicable standards and offer some proven safe work practices that can be used at work or even in the home.
